Instead of sending experienced, but expensive risk inspectors for catering SMEs by insurance companies, this app mobilizes shop floor managers to capture risk or hazard information at critical checkpoints regularly, like self-health checks by blood measure device. The purpose is to allow the laymen to fill up risk information on-site using the apps step-by-step guidance.

The analytical part shall then analyze the collected risk information, backed up by experts opinions, and create risk scores for the restaurants risk managers, or insurance underwriters to understand different levels of risk and estimate the appropriate premium.

The users must fill up the information with a selection of choices at their most convenient. The choice sets have to be modified in the usual local and colloquial language. Hence, all questions are presented in Chinese for restaurants in Hong Kong.

Other than choice-based questionnaires, pictures or photos are much easier for laymen to understand and quickly capture all necessary information. Therefore, this app will use more photo capture functions to collect on-site information.

It is valuable for insurance companies to provide professional risk management services, attracting quality clients with a solid motive to do risk management.

The ultimate purpose of this app is to evaluate and rate each restaurant risk based on expert opinion on the collected information.
